I-Tech 7: Total Base Refurbishment and Alterations

Having worked with Subsea 7 as a facilities and project management contractor for many years, We were tasked with carrying out the refurbishment and upgrade of their Field business unit I-Tech 7’s Aberdeen operational Base Aberdeen.

This project was lengthy and involved the management and strategic planning of various trades and specialist contractors working to a phased project management plan, as well as the serious health & safety considerations of multiple third parties working amongst oil & gas operations on site, whilst minimising disruption to the client.

With a member of our team based on site to handle the daily management of contractors and overseeing construction works were being carried out safely and to-plan, We were able to give this project the amount of time and attention needed to ensure a timely and on-budget project completion.

From design and planning, local authority permissions, contract tendering, on-site project management and post-closeout facilities management, we at Carden Project Management are pleased to have been able to work on this project.
